Make your Brochure Printing Stand Out - By: Dean Williams
Other than taking expensive television, radio and newspaper ads, the next best thing you can do especially with a limited advertising budget is using brochures. Brochure printing is pretty much an accepted business practice these days and they are often quite effective when it comes to delivering your message across to your target audience. Brochure printing is a pretty much simple affair as long as you are decided on what to put on your brochure. Brochures are pamphlets disguised as advertisements for services, products, locations, hotels, resorts and events. There are many uses for brochure printing but two things in common are that they must be precise (concise in their text messages) and also eye-catching with regards to the quality of the printing (full colours preferably in glossy paper). Brochures are distributed either actively by using people to hand them out at places where there are plenty of people like train or bus stations, market places, amusement parks or airport and sea port terminals. Brochures can also be passively distributed by using racks or standees where people who are interested can just take them out for free, bring them home or wherever they are going and read later on at their leisure time. Brochure printing can be done using a home computer but offset printing is the best way to achieve good results at less cost. Brochure printing has many variants depending on your many pages you have in mind. The most common is the single sheet brochure which becomes a bi-fold when printed on both sides and then folded into two halves. This is the most economical way in brochure printing. However, there is also a tri-fold which results into 6 different sheets or panels and even the quad-fold into eight panels. Brochure printing can be done very fast using templates or from a selection of designs already with the printer. All that will be added will be your particular message and other themes you think are unique to your business or product or service. The most important point is to let your brochure printing stand out among several similar brochures when placed side by side. The trick is to catch attention. There are today many web sites that offer brochure printing services. You can choose your own design by sending them your particular or unique design via e-mail and the printer will add his own touch and suggestions on how to further improve the look of your brochure. Brochure printing is done using four colours at the most although more colours will add to your printing costs. You can ask the printer offering brochure printing to add his own artwork when stumped on the best design and then ask for a sample of the paper first before giving the go ahead signal for the print. Most sites that offer professional brochure printing services can offer quick turnaround times when necessary but they will probably charge you extra for that hurried service rendition.
